Thank God we don't have to go to the clinic, but rather the nurse comes to give him the push. I have to get the camera back; it was a sight to see Sam sitting at the kitchen table, pulling his shirt up to expose the port and the line hanging from it, and then watching the nurse administer some medicinee. Right at the kitchen table. Words fail me. We are doing better, still tired. Someone said this is a marathan, a long race, and I understand what they mean. Sam is taking some nausea medicine, and so far he hasn't shown any sickness. In fact, if you didn't know he was sick, you just wouldn't know. He's losing the weight, slowly, and he seems to be running a little better. Kafi said that he even pulled himself into the car seat yesterday without getting on his hands and knees. so it looks like his strength is returning.

My daughter and son-in-law are running for Sam at the Phoenix Team-in-Training event. As a measure of the support my wife and I give them and an expression of hope for Sam, I have posted an appeal for contributions in my bi-weekly newsletter, "Ekklesia Then & Now."
You can view it at:

We pray Andrea and Aaron will reach their goal to help Sam and to honor their commitment to serving others as Jesus did.
