almost bedtime

... here at the hospital. Sam continued to have a fever today. They sent him down for another chest x-ray, and they started a blood culture to see if there is any infection anywhere. We are here through Friday at least. He's fever, at the moment is almost gone. I ordered him dinner, but he hasn't touched any of it. He was cold, but then I put some more blankets on his feet and he feels better. He enjoys the playroom, and we went back this afternoon for a little bit. Old Mac laptop: if anyone has an old mac laptop that runs OS 9 or higher, and you'd be willing to part with it, that would be a help. We were trying to use this windows laptop but it keeps freezing and crashing, and we can't run any computer cd games. He uses my laptop at times, but I'm also trying to do a lot of work though we are squirreled away here on the third floor. Thanks.

  • I am praying for Sam, and for your family tonight. I've read of your journey through Sam's illness, and I will continue to lift him up.

I hope you don't mind, but I felt compelled to write about Sam tonight. May you all be surrounded by God as you try to rest, and I pray that you sense His presence there with you at just the moment you need to feel it. Take care.

    Blessings,
    Jan
