docs just came by

It looks like they are going to keep Sam a few more days, I'm guessing at least two. Dr. Pawlowska and nurse Debby and another doctor, Ewing, came over and asked about him. Because Sam has kept coughing, they've called for another chest X-Ray to see if there is anything else. They are withholding his chemotherapy because of the fever. As I talked with the doctors I thought of The Cheerful Oncologist, a blogger who is an oncologist (blood doctor) elsewhere in America. This blogger talks about how doctors are constantly thinking through new developments, changes, and how to apply establish protocols to health situations as they emerge. That's what I saw in the faces of the doctors, them thinking through the data. Please pray for them, too.

Just peeked on Sam again. Somehow he moved off of drawing to a Rescue Heroes board game, and he got Daniel, the other boy, to play with him.
